Praised by the international press for her “passion, empathy and precision” and her “outstanding” performances, violinist Rachelle Hunt has appeared as a soloist throughout the United States, Europe, and South America with ensembles such as the Strings of the Frankfurt Radio Symphony, the Frankfurt Strings, the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival Chamber Orchestra, the Neue Philharmonie Westfalen, and the Orquesta Filharmónica de Ecuador. She has been a prize-winner in international and national competitions, and she has been presented as a soloist and chamber musician at venues such as the Kennedy Center (USA), the Frankfurt Radio Hall (Germany), the Romanian Athenaeum in Bucharest (Romania), and Casa de la Música (Ecuador), as well as being featured on the nationally broadcast “From the Top” on NPR in the USA, numerous German radio stations, and TV in Venezuela and Colombia. Her recordings of chamber works have been selected to be included in the digital collection of Mozart's complete works for the International Mozarteum Foundation, the ARD Mediathek and the ARTE Concert archives. She frequently works with contemporary composers and has premiered several works. Parallel to her dozens of solo and chamber music concerts around the globe each season, she has been a tenured member of the Frankfurt Radio Symphony (hr-Sinfonieorchester) for over a decade and is violin faculty at the Conservatory (Dr. Hochs Konservatorium) in Frankfurt, Germany.
